Eating disorders ( anorexia )?

ok. i really want to loose wait because prom is coming up and when i look at pictures of myself or video's i look like my legs are HUGE! the reason why i want to become anorexic is because one summer i had a problem with my stomach and i lost ALOT of weight because i really didnt eat. so i need some help on ways i can become anorexic.
The other thing is some days i dont really eat and i get really hungry and then my stomach gets pass the point of hungry, but i get light headed ( yeah <3 ) is there anything i can do to help stop these feelings?
PLEASE HELP ME BECOME ANOREXIC!

Hi Chelsie, my name is Toni, I'm 22 years old and have been in recovery for 19 months for an eating disorder, I know you don't want to hear this, but anorexia, and bulimia are the worst things you can do for your body. My first suggestion to "helping" you is for you to do a little research about anorexia, see how it affects your insides.

And second, find someone you can talk to and get yourself some help. My good friend from counceling didn't get help soon enough, and died last July of conjestive heart failure, she was only 23 years old. Anorexia starts by eating your muscle (when your in "starvation mode"), after the muscle, it moves onto your vital organs. Anorexics, although skinny have the highest body fat percentage. The body stores the fat. Then, once it starts on your vital organs - you die. Also, not eating for periods of time, causes your metabolism to slow down, which will prevent you from easily losing weight in the future when your doing it the healthy way.
The best thing to do, is to start eating healthy, a minimum of 1200 calories a day (NEVER LESS) and exercising. Start with 30-45 minutes of cardio (running, biking, swimming, rowing, tai bo, kickboxing... etc) 5 times a week. Increase your time and resistance often.
I hope this helps, I don't want to just get on here and critisize you like everyone else has, be healthy with your decisions, this will affect the rest of your life. Do some research. Good luck to you and have fun at prom.

are u retarted? do u want to kill yourself? then just don't eat and you'll be well on your way to becoming anorexic.

why don't u just stop being lazy, exercise a lot, and eat healthier instead of risking your life to look "good"?

asshole thats the worst thing u can do to yourself u r discusting have fun diying

You should go to a dietician and a psycologist, there is nothing we can do for you online, sorry, wish I could help.

you idiot dont turn anorexic, you will ruin your freaking life

foodaddicts.org Please fix the problem before you become anorexic. Its a disease not a fix for weight problems

This caught my eye and I felt that I needed to reply. I know that the thought of anorexia is appealing and that loosing a lot of weight with relatively little work sounds great. Its not. I read through the answers people left and many of them did not say what is appropriate in your situation. I thought maybe I could help so here I go...
I am 17 years old and am anorexic. I have been to rehab twice and have not been able to get past my illness. Yes that is what it is. It's an illness. It is not something you just decide to become. It has a lot to do with chemicals in the brain. It means that those with anorexia do not see them selves as skinny ever. Even if they weigh 40 lbs. It is a struggle to achieve unattainable perfection. Please dear if there was one thing I wished for the world I would wish that their was no such thing as anorexia. It harms everything. Relationships, dental health, your body. Its not worth losing a couple pounds. Eating healthy and exercising are so much better for you, especially in the long run.
Now after all this you might wonder why I am still anorexic even though I feel so negatively about it. It is all about illness. Its an addiction. Something I cant seem to break, at least not now.
No one can decide for you. Even after reading what I and the girl above me have written you may still begin to starve your self but before you do go to a anorexia support meeting. See first hand what these people have to deal with and see if you are willing to put you and your family through that kind of hardship.
I hope you chose to do the right thing.
Stay strong. You are beautiful no matter what.

I am sorry, but as a researcher on Eating Disoder, you are ANOREXIC!!! I am sooooo sorry to deliver this news!!! Please get treatment!
