Is eating 3 eggs, one leg of chicken, and 1 tsp of peanut butter a day OK if you're on a protien diet? |
I'm 15 years old. I'm 5 foot 8 and 170lbs. (I'm assuming this info is relivant) I am on a protien diet and I want to lose this weight in a healthy way. I dont want to starve myself at all and develop an eating disorder but i would like to shave a couple of lbs off my weight. My question once again: Is eating 3 eggs, 1 chicken leg, and 1 tsp of peanut butter per day a good way to lose weight and still stay healthy? You would not be taking in enough food to sustain daily life and this would cause your metabolize to back pedal and would put your body into famine mode. Yes you would loose weight in the beginning but your body would then start to store everything and the second you went back to eating normally you would gain weight right back and then some. No, that is not nearly enough food for someone of your size. If you throw your body into starvation mode, it will slow down your metabolism and hold onto all the fat it can. you need to eat more. I know this may sound weird but you can't only eat that in and entire day! You body needs more nutrition than that. The protein route is a good one. I would like you to sit down with your parents and look at my website. I am here to help people be healthy and lose weight. I myself use the best products that money can buy and I think you could benefit from them as well. I am on a program that incorporates a lot of protein into my diet and very little calories. I have lost 15 pounds and 21 inches in only 9 weeks and I feel amazing! I would love to help you out! Please take a look at the site below and I can send you some FREE samples of the products for you to try. There will be NO obligation or pressure at all. I am not trying to pressure people. That is not what I do. I am here to simply help people live healthier, happier lives! I wish you the best and I really do hope you chose a healthy way to lose the weight even if it is not through me! That sounds like a decent diet plan. I would add some tuna, baked beans, and broccili to that diet... maybe an apple in the morning. You have to make sure you still get essential vitamins in the protein foods you eat, thats the problem with your diet. But your workout routine sounds good, especially the crunches. It would be good to do some resistance training, like 50 push ups a day. At this rate you should be about 150 lbs in 20 weeks. |
