Controlling eating habits & exercise??

I am 15, 5'2 and i weigh 96 pounds. I have no problems with eating disorders, i am just a thin girl. My doctor and my family says i need to put more "meat on my bones" and my dr always tells me i need to gain weight. I eat a lot and i dont get heavier or bigger but i do want to start controlling my eating habits. I dont eat ice cream and cookies or drink soda i have a pretty good diet. But how much i eat in a day isnt breakfast lunch and dinner, i have extra snacks in between (they arent sweets) and i need to stop that but i dont know how. i also need to start excercising more, not just gym in school. But it cant be anything to big, i have back & leg problems. can some one help with some advice to control my eating and keep up on exercise?

Low Carb Dieting Tip
Your rate of metabolism dictates how many calories you burn. Heredity, gender, age, body size. diet and nutrition, activity level, and your overall health factor in on determining how high or low your metabolism is. It is normal for metabolism levels to lower as a person ages. Because of this it is important to begin stepping up your exercise routines in your thirties and forties.

Ways to Boost Your Metabolism

Eat Regularly - Eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day will give you energy throughout the day--helping you to burn calories. Whereas, calories eaten during larger meals tend to get stored as fat.
Maintain a Balanced Diet - Not only how often you eat is important, but your food choices are equally as important. Nurture you body with the appropriate balance of protein and carbs.

Eating whole foods rather than processed food gives your digestive system a workout that burns calories. For example: choose an apple over apple juice.
Workout with Weights - Building muscle mass will replace stored fat. As you build muscle tissue your metabolism increases.
Don't Forget Cardio - You need to get that heart rate up and breathe a little heavier. Twenty to thirty minutes of cardiovascular activity 5 days a week is recommended. Brisk walking or swimming are good. Or utilize exercise equipment (exercise bike, treadmill, or elliptical trainer)
Fruits and vegetables are clearly an important part of a good diet. Almost everyone can benefit from eating more of them, but variety is as important as quantity. No single fruit or vegetable provides all of the nutrients you need to be healthy. The key lies in the variety of different fruits and vegetables that you eat.
Some basic fruit and vegetable tips:
鈥?Try to eat more fruits and vegetables. If you need 2,000 calories a day to maintain your weight and health, aim for at least nine servings (4陆 cups) a day.
鈥?Choose a variety of different fruits and vegetables. It's easy to get into a rut when it comes to the food you eat. Break out and try a wider variety - include dark-green, leafy vegetables; yellow, orange, and red fruits and vegetables; cooked tomatoes; and citrus fruits.

My doc once told me to do the same..I had to drink Guinness for quite a while in order to put on the few pounds. I usually drank it before bedtime..it helped me sleep too. As I excerized too often found that I burned more calories per session than I was actually taking in..so in the end my bod told me to stop it and get help. As of now I drink very rarely..though sometimes have a bottle of the old remedy..any stout will do. As a result I am a not a very good drinker..as in drinkers go..I get high on the smell of it let alone drinking the stuff. Lots of people adapt..though..oddly enough I don't..so it works for me as a remedy..and nothing else.
If you really want to put on some weight there are a number of products that you can eat and see the difference in a relativly short haul..try some Royal Jelly..it is an energy booster..though the side effect is putting on weight. Bake home-made cakes and tarts..and eat plenty of them. Though above all exercize daily and burn off what you can..while you can..in a few years time you will notice the definitive state and size of your body.
