ED's???(eating disorders??? |
my 13 year old daughter has this little eating thing were she is obsessed with her weight. She is 5'3 in height and weighed 111 at her last doctors appointment. Now, 4 weeks later, she is almost 5'4 in height, but only weighs 97lbs. She is always eating carefully/barely and is always calling herself fat. If she ever gains weight, even a pound, she goes on basically "eating strike" and wont eat but maybe a couple crackers for a few days. She is constantly losing weight, and I dont know what to do. I cant take her to the doctor because I dont have the money and there is nowhere is our area cheap/free. I am very worried though, so I was hoping maybe by displaying all her symptoms I could find out what was wrong with her and maybe learn what to do about it. Other things about her are she has very pale skin, has times where she feels really sore and weak for no apparent reason, and she hasnt eaten ANY meat for nearly 3 years. Also, she is always tired during the day but cant sleep at night. Call your health insurance company and find a doctor they will pay for. If not, take her to a clinic or call the health department to find one. well even though your money is tight, u should take your daughter to the doctor because i am sure u want what is best for your daughter, and ofcourse your daughter must have insurance then she will get a treatment cheaply you need to have a right way to earn or borrowed money for your daughter...you need to go to the hospital to know what happened to your daughter...and follow the instructions of the doctors said to you....get well soon to your daughter!God bless! |
