I think i might have a problem...? |
For the past month or so, maybe a month and a half i have been making myself not eat. I know i'm hungry but i just choose not to eat. I'm 17 and yes have learned about eating disorders but i truely dont think i have one. Just about the past week or so one of my friends keeps asking me if I'm going ano on her and i tell her no im just not hungry. when in reality i am sometimes i just dont want to eat. like today, i told her no i eat just not here, i eat a lot at home. when in reality i dont even barely eat at home. and i might note ive lost that weight in like 1-1 1/2 months.. Yes, you have an eating disorder. If it is fear of gaining weight than eat sensible. ya, ya bag of bones, go eat not eating will only slow down your metabolism, and that won't help at all. Eat smart and exercise. Yes you are developing an eating disorder. You should seek counciling for your self esteem issues. It is not normal to lie about whether or not you ate. i think i think it's something to do with your brain. since you said that everyone is like, complimenting you now, maybe before you saw yourself as a bit big, and somehow your brain made itself think that it should eat. o_O ok...from my experience ur on ur way to eating disorder!! i did exactly the same thing 10 mtnhs ago! i dint eat anything in the morning no matter how hungry i was. n then stopped lunch completely as well!! i had only dinner!!! and i lost ALOT ALOT of wt in jst abt 1 - 1.5 mnths!!! n this continued for more mnths and i lost more wt till my periods started becoming irregular!! then my parent wud force me to eat lunch and stuff and i wud puke it!! so basically it lead me to bulimia. i was jst scared to gain wt!! and now im in pain...coz bulimia led me to binging every nite!!! my life is screwed!! plzz dont do tht to ur self!!! jst eat, bt eat fruits and veggies. and excercise so u stay in shape!!! best of luk!! eat the right foods. if you don't eat properly your body still makes fat cells but at a higher rate. this could lead to a disorder. if you lost 30 pounds that should be enough. how tall are you and whats your weight? don't make this a problem. you do have a eating disorder by not eating you may be loosing weight but you could also start loosing your hair, your complexion will be affected as well as your bones and teeth all because your body is not getting the proper nutrition it needs. You are definately developing an eating disorder. it started out in exactly the same way for me. I stopped eating slowely, soon my apetite reduced, losing weight made me extremely happy and soon went on to being the highlight of my life! if you want to lose weight pls dont skip meals or avoid eating. just exercise and have diet, just eat fruits in the morning, vegetables and 1 and 1/2 cup of rice during lunch and dinner but you have to eat your dinner before 6pm.these wont make you gain wait.pls do eat because for sure you will regret at the end when you have your very slim body, enjoy having it in a very short time because you are seriously ill and need to be confined in the hospital.. No one can diagnose you over the internet. It doesn't sound like you have an eating disorder per se. Eating disorders are almost always a symptom of depression or very low self-esteem. And nobody here knows you, how you act, and what your life is like. So we cant judge that. |
