Lead poisoning from MINISCULE ingestion? |
Is it possible to get lead poisoning from touching lead, then using anti-bacterial gel instead of waching your hands, then eating food? What I mean to ask is, how much lead gets on your hands/how much would someone have to ingest to actually get sick? And if the ammount is small, will it eventually be handled by the body? No. Lead piping was used for drinking water in medievil times and not everybody got lead poisoning. You need to consume a fair amount, but not miniscule. You'll be fine. You will probably be fine, lead poisoning takes alot of exposure. If I were you, I'd be paranoid and ask a doctor anyways- just to be safe. you will be fine. once, i ingested a tiny (if not none) amount of mercury (from a thermometer) and i was fine. i think you will be okay. |
