Is lead poisoning an environmental or nutritional disease? |
Does inhalation of lead ions counts as nutritional? because isn't that how most lead poisoning occurs; like through dust and fumes? I live in a city with a lot of older housing. Most lead poisoning here occurs through babies and very small children eating chips of lead paint, which apparently has a faintly sweet taste. Some of them whose cribs are near lead-painted surfaces peel off the tiny chips themselves. |
