Can you die from lead poisoning? |
My sister's ex says that he has two months to live bacause of lead poisoning. He apparently got the lead poisoning from a bullet like 1 or 2 years ago. Is it even possible to die of lead poisoning from that? Don't they have treatments? It is highly unlikely that he is dying from lead poisoning, if he attended hospital they would have removed it and treated him. yeah you can die from lead poisoning, but your sister's ex probably is lying. Yes it is possible to die of lead poisoning, but not from a bullet he took a few years ago. First, the amount of lead he would absorb from the bullet would be minuscule. Second, he would be ill if he was dying from heavy metal poisoning. Third, if he has lead poisoning it is treatable with chelation therapy. yeah, you can die from lead poisoning! although, you can also just have really serious effects. here's a link, at bottom. hope you have good luck with him. yes you can die from it............but i dont think he will, he's dumb or a jerk, thats just the way i see it. I would say he is full of BS from 1 bullet, Asks the vets with a purple heart or CMH It is highly uncommon to die from lead poisoning. children are more subcepitable to lead poisoning. They do have treatments for lead poisoning. Was the bullet left in him? That's the only way I can see him having lead poisoning. If left untreated, yes, lead poisoning can kill. |
