Can you get lead poisoning? |
I draw on my hands almost everyday with my pens and sometimes markers, I was wondering if it was possible if I can get lead poisoning or can anything bad happen to me if I keep drawing on myself? You will not get lead poisoning from any pen or marker; they do not contain lead. Neither do pencils anymore; they are made of graphite. The materials used in the markers and pens are safe; nothing bad will happen if you draw on yourself, but if you puncture the skin you may get ink poisoning. well if you use ink it is ink poisoning so yes there is a possibility you could get it but not alot of people do. |
