Could I get lead poisoning from canned tomatoe juice?

I use it to cook my macaroni in for macaroni soup. I eat it almost 4-5 times a week. Is it bad?

(ingedients are healthy I'm talking about the lead)

To my knowledge, most cans made in the US are not made with lead that come into contact with food. Nor are they made of alloys that are derived from lead. You should be safe unless that can comes from overseas or is older than the ban on lead soldered cans that went into effect in 1995 . The only concern is with the linning on the inside of the can be damaged . The chemical reaction from the acidity of the soup mixed with the xposed metal can impart an off taste.

I don't think there will be much lead in the cans, but other metals are not necessarily healthy either.
Why take chances? Just use a pot.
