Can you get lead poisoning over time from drinking out of lead crystal glasses?

With all the concern about the lead in products exported from China, should we be concerned about drinking from crystal? All fine crystal includes lead and my every day glasses are crystal I got at a discount store. I could eliminate all risk and just throw them away, but do I have to? Can anyone with a science expertise offer an opinion on this?

Yes, you can develop chronic lead poisoning by frequently drinking out of containers with lead.

I certainly wouldn't use them for everyday use. Use regular glass instead.
