What's worse...mercury poisoning or lead poisoning?

or what are the different effects of each?

mercury kills first and with a smaller dose. it shuts down your organs and your hair falls out, your brain dies.
lead kills second and takes longer if you are an adult, thats why lead paints are bad, but usually you have stomach problems and skin lesions first and then it gets detected. it causes mental developmental problems in children.
niether is good, it like choosing between a crocidile or an alliagator for a swimming buddy.

mercury kills you faster and you only need to intake fumes or a very small amount, lead takes time to build up and one of the signs and most apparent is the apperance of "meese"(sp?) lines that form on fingernails and toe nails (and hair but not visible to naked eye) they appear as just random lines of discolorment of the nails, both are lethal so i would say they are both as bad
