Can you get lead poisoning from only wearing jewelry that has lead in it?

not putting in mouth, simply wearing it. ie, earrings, cheap necklaces and bracelets, ring, kids jewelry.
thanks!!!

To my knowledge lead must be ingested into the body to poison it. It can discolor the skin a little but actual poisoning means the poison has gotten passed the body's safeguards and entered the bloodstream.
How to solve this problem:
1. Don't wear lead jewelry with pierced earrings.
2.Buy pewter, silver and white gold jewelry instead.
