Latex/condom allergy...could it be?

ok, i have food allergies; i'm allergic to many fruits....well earlier, my husband and i had sex with a new type of condom (trojan's mint tingle), and i performed oral on him...i noticed that there was a lot of the condom's lubricant still on him when i started....now, i have this weird feeling in my throat...i guess kinda like the feeling when one says they have a knot or lump in their throat. so could this be an allergy to latex, or just the lube inside the condom?? i'm kinda lost, so any info would be helpful. thanks in advance!

PS- we've done this many times and that has never happened, but we don't use condoms that often....when we do, they're usually different types we experiment with

yes you can be allergic to latex you might want to try the natural condoms

I wouldnt say it is allergies. If you want to know for sure go see a allergy doctor to find out. To tell you the truth I thinks its more of a gag reflex than anything. My wife had that same problem but it went away and we didnt think anything of it.

flavoured condoms are very well known for the irritations they can cause.

sounds like an irritation rather then an allergy...

to see if you are allergic, try rubbing a new mint tingle condom (lube side out) on different parts of your body. it may feel a little silly, but it will show up on your skin if you have an allergy within 24hours.

otherwise, there is an excellent chance of irritation, so... avoid that particular brand of flavoured condoms - the good news is that there are millions of varietys to try out!

It sounds like an allergy to me - and I should know, I've got hundreds.

You shouldn't need to use a condom during oral sex, if it's your husband - unless you suspect he's cheating on you?
