Where can a nurse work if she developed a severe latex allergy?

Are there any departments in a hospital where gloves aren't required? Or maybe any type of nursing job that doesn't require gloves? Or is there a list of latex free hospitals in the US available somewhere? I tried to google it and didn't find anything :(

I have a severe latex allergy & spent a lot of time @ hospitals growing up. Children's hospital in Boston is latex free. Did u try the project elastic website? The spina bifida association may have something to help u too, latex is prevelant in that disability. www.sbaa.org

Our hospital has latex free gloves and other items. I don't think that would preclude a nuse working in a hospital situation. We are very aware of the growing problem of people with latex allergies.
