Possible to "develope" a latex alergy?

I've noticed recently that any time I wear/use something with latex that I get little red bumps or get red skin. When I wear flipflops with latex in them my feet get sores, if I wear a hairtye around my wrist it turns red(not red from being tight, I wear them loose on my wrist because I'm claustrophobic) or mainly, when I wear latex gloves in my lab classes in school I get super itchy all over my arms and neck. So, it obviously sounds like a latex allergy, but how could it just randomly start developing? or could this possibly be something else?

Advice appreciated! :)

it is possible with repeated exposure to develop any type of allergy, especially a latex one.
You can get non latex gloves, the vinyl stretchy ones are fairly good.
i would suggest you change them and see if that helps it get better. take and antihistamine as well if its still up.

this is why most medical places have changed to latex free gloves.. repeated exposure can cause allergies to them.. i am allergic to lemons now from cutting so many.. if you have this many instances with latex then it is probably a new allergy. the school should provide you with latex free.. mot workplaces have to.
