Can latex allergies be confused with herpes? |
Is it possible for a latex allergy to be confused with herpes? I understand that it can cause a poison ivy like rash. My reason for asking is that the gynocologist thinks my girlfriend may have it, but I've been tested twice and came up negative. She hasn't been tested, but they did bloodwork last week and results have yet to return. Thanks for the help. I hope this helps clarify the difference instead of confuse now. See a Doctor, but I wouldnt think so.......... A latex reaction in that case will not have the blisters associated with herpes but more of a yeast infection type reaction. Burning, itching, and a bit of a discharge similar to yeast. |
