Should I keep this new dentist? My old dentist retired and I've been shopping around.? |
I went to this new dentist & after minor work had (surprise!)had a latex allergy. Swelling on the tongue, no taste, no sensation for one week. After swelling subsided, a puncture wound is visible on my tongue. Hmmm. Latex allergy or nerve damage? More likely you bit your tongue whilst it was swollen. a puncture wound caused by a routine dental instrument would be unnoticeable after 1 week. I think I would definitely get that looked at...and then sue. If you feel comfortable with the new one- keep him. If not better change. If are not happy with a dentist, by all means get a new one. Specifically, if you believe this new dentist caused undue pain, then certainly move one. :) I think it will probably heal. I don't know a single dentist who ever woke up in the morning ans said I'm going to go to work and hurt someone today. If you live in Los Angeles, California come to my office, the doctors are wonderful! |
