Laser Eye Surgery for 15 year old?

I am wondering if it is ok for a 15 to get laser eye surgery. Thanks

LASIK candidates must be at least 18 years of age - no exceptions.

I'm sure it would be okay, although I would wait. Your vision may not be set yet, and may get worse as you get a little older. And contacts really aren't that bad! I would wait a few years before you have it done.

Yeah its ok, but they don't offer it to anyone below 18 or 21 years (depending on the state)

Doctors won't perform on lower than 18. Just stick with contact lenses and wait a few years.

I wouldn't be a fan of such a decision, If I was your parent I wouldn't allow it.

I don't think so. I went to an eye doctor and asked about getting a lasik, but he said it is not easy to get it. your eyes should be stabil at least 2-3 years before getting permitted to get lasik. If the corrections are changing randomly every year, the doctor would not recommend to do it. Besides, you're still way too young, your eyes are still changing everytime. Now is definitely not the best time to get a lasik.
