Does Laser Eye Surgery Hurt?

Laser Eye Surgery is uncomfortable, but not painful. Similar level to having a simple dental procedure. This is provided there are no complications.

Unfortunately, it's unlikely that you'll be able to have the procedure done unless you have unusually thick corneas. This is because your prescription is quite high and a lot of cornea would need to be removed to give you clear vision.

There is also lens implant surgery which is slightly more invasive, but works on people with high prescriptions like yourself. Although his probably wont be available for you for a few years yet when your prescription is more stable.

There's always contact lenses! Have you given them a try yet? Make an appointment with your optometrist and they can discuss all of the above options with you.

it does not hurt! my mother had really bad vision too and she went and had it done. now she has really good vision and does not have to use glasses at all! all thats really annoying about the suery is that afterwards for a couple monthes you have to wear sunglasses whenever you go outside.

No it doesn't hurt.
