Singer with laryngitis..?

I am almost positive I have laryngitis. My doctor suspects it too. It's takes a lot of effort to actually speak so someone can hear me, and my voice is all hoarse. I also have a lump on my throat from the swelling. I usually get that whenever I'm sick. Yet, my throat isn't sore at all..

The problem is, I have singing events coming up within the next month, and I was wondering how long laryngitis lasts?
What should I do to make it go away faster?

Don't talk and drink fluids.

LOLOLOLOLOL HAHAHAHA Report It

it lasted about a week or two for me
