Can lactose intolerance get worse over time?

I've known I am lactose intolerant since I was little because even then milk was nearly impossible to drink for me....however that was only in the mornings and sometimes later in the day I could drink maybe one glass of milk comfortably. however lately I've been experiencing discomfort when drinking milk at any time and now even eating ice cream and those foods. so my question is, can lactose intolerance worsen as you get older?? like maybe your body starts producing even less and less lactase?? help!!

Yes, lactose intolerance can, and often does, worsen with time, and for exactly the reason you put forward, as we age, everyone produces less and less lactase (in many cases, this is not significant, but in some it may be enough of a decline to cause someone who did not consider themselves to be lactose intolerant to become so).
Fortunately, we can produce lactase and take it with dairy, so it's a treatable condition.
You have to remember, it's not actually "natural" for mammals to take dairy after weaning, we evolved to eat milk as babies and not after, the amount of time we've been able to get dairy due to the domestication of cattle is very short in the evolution of our species, we simply haven't adapted to it.

You know what I think?? I think that as time goes by the manufacturers and food companies keep coming up with all sorts of different ways of processing and preserving our foods and beverages and are continually adding all sorts of differents preservatives, chemicals, additives and the like to keep our foods on the supermarket shelves for the next 20 or 30 years to come !! Sensitive little bodies like ours simply cant handle the toxic overload. As they increase their chemical overload so our bodies react with bloating, gassiness, belching, wind, heartburn, headaches, fatigue and this list goes on!!
