Question re: young child with possible lactose intolerance? |
Sorry to talk about poo on here, but ... Alright. First off, to see if the symptoms are caused by a lactose intolerance, you need to wait for all the symptoms to leave. Then, you can reintroduce you child to milk based items to see if the symptoms return. It they do, then I would bet on a lactose intolerance. Another predictor for lactose intolerance is if she started to experience symptoms after about thirty minutes after eating anything that is dairy based. I am no expert, but discovered after listening to a group of friends describing their symptoms of being lactose intolerant, I tried soy milk which helped and then discovered Dairy Care. |
