A weird sign of lactose intolerance?

I was getting my hair cut when the woman cutting my hair noticed that my neck was red. She asked if I had fair skin and its definitely true. Whenever I touch it it turns red and begins to itch, mostly on my neck, shoulders and chest. I get alot of pimples in these areas and I also get little red bumps. She said that the little red bumps are a sign of Lactose Intolerance. Im 17 and when I was about 14 or 15 I went through a stage of serious lactose intolerancy with the normal stomach symptoms that lasted a couple of months. When I told her this she said I probably still have it. My prom is coming up in May and she said a couple of days before hand to stop eating dairy products. I was wondering if this is a true sign of lactose intolerancy or not. Ive looked online but all I find is stomach syptoms. Can someone help me? And if possible can you leave your source? Thank you so much!

One of my girlfriends was having skin problems that went away when she gave up dairy... it was more of a dairy allergy than lactose intolerance where the milk sugar causes bloating and tummy problems...

Give up dairy! What have you got to lose? I'd try it for several weeks though, not just a few days before the prom!

This sounds more like a milk allergy vs lactose intolerance. Try looking up milk allergy symptoms.
