Weight gain & lactose intolerance?

I have been diagnosed with mild lactose intolerance (mainly stomach cramps etc). I've eaten quite healthy my whole life (im only 18) ,and have been as active as any other person. But I'm probably 8kg or 16lbs overweight.Could I have put on weight due to eating dairy products over the years, not knowing I was lactose intolerant?

I've always been a bit chunkier, i didnt just put it all on

There are millions of difference reasons that could have caused your weight gain. To be honest, I would think that being intolerant would cause weight loss, not gain. Ever since I discovered I was diagnosed with Celiac, I lost over 65 pounds.

Have you been stressed a lot lately? That can cause weight gain. certain meds can cause weight gain. Depression can cause weight gain. Have you moved lately, or started college? That may be it. Or perhaps you've been eating more unhealthy since you were diagnosed?

Don't forget, you're still young. It may just be a "natural" weight gain. Are your parents overweight?

Everyone is different, but for some people, the symptoms make them thinner.

Hi there,
I have seen people around me using this product called herbalife and they keep on losing weight. I havnt used the product because i am not over weight but i would recomend that you give it a shot. I have seen people losing 10 kg in 6-8 weeks. It is also healthy and supplies all the nutritional requirements of the body.
