What are the symptoms of lactose intolerance? Anyone here experienced this? |
I'm 28 years old and never had problems with dairy products before, but after ongoing health problems lactose intolerance has been suggested to me. Can consuming a lot of dairy products cause lactose intolerance? I have been lactose intolerant for years. There are many different symptoms, but I think the most common ones are cramps, diarrhea, constipation, bloating. In my case, it even gave me horrible migraines. You can use Lactaid products and pills to ward off any of those uncomfortable symptoms when eating dairy products or even try soy products instead of dairy. They now make milk, cheese and all sorts of great, tasty food with no dairy whatsoever. It doesn't matter how much you like milk and cheese and how much you eat, you can become lactose intolerant. I used to drink a quart of milk each day, loved it. Then I started having trouble with constant diarrhea and gas. Finally I tested myself like this: |
