What does beyond normal result of lymphocyte indicates in hematology laboratory test?

It means basically that the lymphocyte count in your blood is higher than normal and tha t something is wrong.

It is suggestive of some chronic desease in your body.

Without knowing whether the count is high or low and by how much, it is impossible to comment specifically. One of the commonest causes of a raised lymphocyte count is a viral infection. This is usually temporary and returns to normal quite quickly. When any component of a blood count is very abnormal, the laboratory will normally prepare and examine a blood film. This will often, but not always, give an indication of the reason for the abnormal result. Most importantly, the blood film will almost always clearly show leukaemia if this is present - if the only report is of an altered lymphocyte count there is unlikely to be any serious problem. Usual practice is to suggest a repeat count in a week or two.
