What are the ways to reduce ldl cholesterol?

since long one year I could not keep my ldl choleserol level in contol because of which i am facing health problems

To cut down cholestrol(LDL) is physical, diet control, stress avoidance. You better take veg diet, and fiber diet. If it's too high consult your doctor to put you on minor dose of statins.
Best of luck.

Lower your intake of saturated fats and trans fats. In addition, increase your intake of HDL cholesterols.

Also, drugs known as 'statins,' such as lipotor can lower your LDL levels.

whole grains, fruits especially berries , vegetables, salmon, sardines, anchovies, greek olives, oatmeal

use olive oil or smart balance - eliminate butter and other oils

avoid white flour products, but potatos can actually help lower cholesterol

replace some dairy with soy based products

avoid muscle meats like veal cutlets

use only the whites of the egg or limit use of yolks

standard-dose pravastatin (Pravachol) and high-dose atorvastatin (Lipitor) were studied and the standard lowered LDL to about 92 mg/dl on average. High lowered LDL to about 62 mg/dl on average. Adding Zetia to your atorvastatin has also been researched and proven to help. Hope this helps a little
