Lasik or migraine?

I had Lasik surgery 4 months ago. My vision (left eye) has regressed during the healing process and I plan to get an adjustment done in 2-3 months. My right eye is still 20/20 or close. I got temporary glasses to wear for driving.

Yesterday my left eye got very blurry, as though my vision had gotten much worse very quickly. What I mean is that I wasn't seeing shadows, or ghosts...it just appeared that I needed stronger glasses. MUCH stronger.

This lasted from about 5 pm (when I noticed it) till nearly midnight when I went to sleep. When I woke up, my vision was back to "normal." (R-20/20 and L-20/60) I called my eye dr who told me he thinks I suffered an "opthalmic migraine."

I've had migraines before and have had the visual side effects, such as white spots, a blind spot, stars and such. But they never last long -- certainly not 6 hours or more.

Any thoughts? Anyone experienced something similar? My eye doc doesn't think it's lasik related, but I'm not sure.

TAKE OPINION OF ANOTHER EYE SURGEON.
