LASIK for Asian's eyes? |
I am planning to have a LASIK in NYC. I am an Asian. Those Asian doctors here claim that Asian's eyes are different than those of non-Asians. Therefore, I'd better have this surgery with an Asian doctor. WTF?? I am Asian and I had LASIK done. That the most bullshit thing I have ever heard. Maybe those Asian doctors are trying to secure you as a patient. I had LASIK in Washington DC with a non-Asian doctor and my results have been fantastic. I think it is about the skill of your doctor and not his race. My doctor has done surgery on famous people and was not cheap. There are a lot of cheaper or discount LASIK places out there so be careful. |

The first thing you are too young to have LASIK performed. Most physicians will only perform LASIK if you are 21 years or older there are a few that believe 18 year and older. The reason for this ... most commonly reported side effect of lasik. sometimes it never goes away. but most of the time it goes away in a few weeks or less. ...thank you ...Well your parents are right wait for a while then get it done wait till your atleast 18 and from what I heard it's great everyone i spoke with has liked it the only thing i've heard so fa... fairly safe surgery but you will have to call your insurance to see which local eye docs are covered, good luck ... |
