Candians: Lasik Eye Surgery?

If you're Canadian, where did you get your lasik eye surgery done at? Which doctor?

How long did it take you to go under the light? (Like, how long did it take when you first decided you wanted to go and get the surgery done?)

I am native american, I have a tax card. I hear it is $400 a eye down here in Nova Scotia..

Did it sting alot? If so, how long?

Is there anybody out there whose eyes got f'd up after lasik eye surgery?

My mom got her LASIK surgery done at AIO.
She said there was absolutely no pain during the surgery at all.
She said the only pain she had was for about 8 hours at about two hours after the surgery.
She said it felt like there were just grains of sand in her eyes.
Her eyes were good after surgery, nothing f'd up about them. lol.
Sorry but I don't know anything about Canadian eye surgery places, it may be different in Canada.
My Mom just told me to tell you to research your doctor thoroughly.
She says to find a doctor that uses a laser with (Wavefront technology), in other words, it uses a computerized global postioning system on your eye to account for the thousands of movents youe eye makes every second, to have more percise lasering of your cornea with better results and much safer.
