Kyphosis??

Does anyone else have this back problem? How do you cope with it? Mine can be really painful.

I don't have this problem myself, but many of my patients do. Chiropractic adjustments most likely will be very beneficial. Monthly or even bi-weekly massages should help as well. Taking yoga classes and Pilates should help with stabilization as well as possibly help slow down progression of your problem. Another thing to try is extension exercises. Try to strengthen the posterior muscles of your back. This can ease your discomfort and also help stave off progression of the kyphosis.

I wrote all of assuming you mean thoracic kyphosis. If you are talking about cervical, most of this still applies as well.

I have it in the neck. And yes, it can be very uncomfortable. I find that chiropractics and massage help a lot.

Going to physical therapy or a chiropractor would really help you. I've had clients with the same problem you have and I use neuromuscular massage therapy to help ease it.
