HELP!!! Has any one ever had back surgery for Scheuermann's kyphosis or any other curvature of the spine...

i have it and i'm intrested in getting surgery for it. does any one have sucess stories about it or any information on what to do about it? i tried to research it but didn't find much. plz help

My friend had this, and went for sergery for it.

She said it helped her alot, but the pain never completely goes away.

I want to also point out that my friend does not do every thing the doctor tells her to do for a higher sucess rate, and she agrees that if she listened it would be better, but she is laxy and dont listen.

your sergery will go as you want it to, and depends if you listen or not. Also if your over weight you should try to lose it because weight makes your back worse with every day.

I had fusion surgery i wish i had more information from my doctor before i had it take the time to talk to him and ask if you can talk to other people he has done the same surgery on. Report It
