I have kyphosis. Can it be corrected with exercise (im 17)?

wats the percentage of people that have it? if i can correct it with exercise, what exercises do you suggest?

i had to use a brace for 23 hours a day, for months, even though my curve is hardly noticable. wasn't the doctor probably wrong, or fooled me to make money (the brace was very expensive). what should i do to become better?

I don't know but you should research it on the internet. Also i'm sure exercise does help it.

The doctor was probably right, because kyphosis might be slight now, but could progress in time - especially if you are prone to developing spinal deformities.
Consult an orthopedic surgeon - on proper exercises, on braces, on possibilities of your condition progressing (some require corrective surgery - some procedures aren't done after a certain age).
Try to hold your upper body as straight as possible, exercise daily, rigorously apply any orthosis advised.
