I'm 14 and it seems like my back is messed up!?

It seems like I have postural kyphosis....idk. It's like it looks like I'm slouching but I'm not. It doesn't look like a hunch, but sort of. And my friend said that also, it looks like I stick out my neck too far....it's like I do this

The one pointing to the left would be my neck....what do I do and how do I fix this and can I fix this.

There are two types of doctors that would help with this problem. One is an orthopedic doctor and the other is a chiropractor. I've enclosed a link where you can find a chiropractor in your area. You can talk to your primary doctor for recommendation of an orthopedic specialist.

Go see a chiropractor .

All I can think of is seeing a doctor about it.

Believe it or not the best time to visit a chiropractor is right after you are born the trip down the birth canal is heck on the back and even the last month crunched up in moms belly is. Many people have a knot type hump on the back of their neck that most doctors refer to as calcium deposit. It can cause headaches and make you look like you are slouching all the time. the Dr and chiropractor need to work together. by the way if you do have a "calcium" deposit that is usually lack of I am not sure it can be gotten rid of but the two Dr's together can at least solve most of the problem

I would have your parents have you seen by an Orthopaedic doctor. They specialize in bone and muscular areas of the body. You may have a birth defect, where the neck and shoulders, come together. Does one shoulder, hand lower than the other? When you lift your arms, does one feel stronger, and goes straighter than the other? You may be able to correct it with traction, they could do it at Physical Therapy. Just an idea of treatment, don't be trying to traction yourself, it'd be a good way to paralyze yourself. And don't be letting your friends play chiropractor on you, it is extremely dangerous! You have two main arteries and fragile nerves, throughout your neck, my doctor told me had I continued with the cracking, I too would have been paralyzed. When he described what it would be like, it was horror.
