Help me, please!?

If you are an ophthalmologist like me and you have a patient who needs cataract surgery and has kyphosis to the degree he cannot lie on his back, what other position could be suitable for this operation?

I think about couching while he is sitting, but this operation is very old and not acceptable,is there any opinion?

If he can't lie on a flat surface because of his hunch-back, maybe you can use a Lazy-boy chair or an inner tube, or have sofa cushions wedged under him or something like that.

I'm not a doctor; it's just an idea.

If you were an ophthalmologist, you would know that answer.

OR, ask a fellow colleague who is more experienced.....actually, I send my patient to the colleague....

Perhaps, a seminar is available????

good luck
