Total knee replacement possible stress fracture?


July 2007 total knee replacement. 4 weeks ago knee pain on outside of knee swelling on outside and in back of knee. Differnent pain from before and after surgery. Severe and constant. Doppler taken, no blood clots. Bone scan taken with contract, possible stress fracture, no aboulute, fitted for brace helped releive pressure on knee reducwd swelling for 4 days. Pian back not as severe. Is this normal?

yes because it is still healing
