Range of Motion after Knee Replacement?

Hi, I've been doing physical therapy at home after my recent knee replacement and was wondering if anyone knew a way for me to get better range of motion. I can't bend my leg as far as I used to. I can only bend it enough to sit on my knees. I need to do something to bend it even more like a normal knee.
Thanks

Expected range of motion after total knee replacement is 115-125 degrees...most do not return normal (which is between 130-140 depending on the size of your leg).

However, if you are not there yet, discuss with your surgeon use of a JAS splint. It is a progressive static splint that is designed to increase your rage of motion by holding it in a flexed position (or straight if you need to work on extension)...you turn the crank every 5 minutes to increase the flexion. This is worn for a half hour twice a day.

We use this as an adjunct to PT when people are having difficulty regaining range of motion.

i'm having the opposite problem with my replacement...i can't get my leg straight. i just got a new device to help that. it's pure torture!!!

but, as for yours...i found using the exercise bike helped me a lot there. and, doing heel slides (sitting in a chair sliding my leg/foot up and the back again on the floor, but when i would slide my leg/foot back towards the chair i would use my other leg to move it back a little more each time-kind of forcing it back a little more each time).
