Does anyone plan on getting a knee replacement or already have one? |
I'm 20 years old, Ive had arthritias for 18 years, my doctor told me when i was 18 that i would need a knee replacement on my right knee, is there any other good option? I cant go to the store and walk around for long then I always have to sit down for 20 minutes. is anyone thinking about getting a knee replacement or anyone already have gotten one and do you regret getting it and how long did the pain from the surgery last for? You are so young to be having this problem, but my sister h had her left knee done on Feb 06, and will be having surgery on her right knee on May 30, 06. She is doing wonderful and looking forward to getting her legs back to where she can walk again. Like you , she had to use a wheel chair or not walk at all. Just listen to your doctor, and I will keep you in prayer for fast healing. God Bless You. Just trust in the Lord. He will help you through it. HI THERE, I HAVE HAD TWO KNEE REPLACEMENTS AND I AM SO PLEASED I HAVE A NEW RELEASE OF LIFE. NO MORE PAIN. Joint replacement Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges knee surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as all types of surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your knee/hip surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.hope this helps. |
