Does anyone know the average cost of knee replacement surgery? |
and approx what age is the best for having knee replacement surgery? My ex boss had it done five years or so ago he said it cost him close to 60,000.00 including the physical therapy afterwards. Usually the younger the better as bones are less fragile. I would think that this type of surgery would be covered by insurance if proven needed. But for time missed from work, you would probably need to take FMLA and that would be unpaid unless you have a lot of time saved up. I'm thinking of doing the same thing late next year. Good luck!! |
