Has anyone gone from a Partial Knee replacement to a Full?

I have to have a total in March and they say it only lasts about 10 years. I Have to have the surgery, but I'm only 44. This is very young for a Full Knee Replacement, so I am told.
I played Hockey, Football & Baseball and that is how I got into this position. I'm kind of scared, anybody share their experience with me ???

sorry bud, never had a replacement, but i went through orthroscopic and then reconstrutive surgery the summer after my sophomore year. that was back in '92 and medicine/practice is so much more advanced now. trust your doctor and medical staff and don't worry. good luck.

sorry never had it done but look on the bright side you are young so you will get through it easyer than someone older

My Grand-mother had it done 9 years ago and I know that it was pretty hard for her.She told me that whenever the weather changes, she goes through some pain (Arthritis pain).
