Common knee injuries? |
I have a numbing sensation on the outter right leg in the knee area. When I kneel I get a burning sensation also. What's up? Numbing sensations are usually nerve related. You probably have a pinched nerve somewhere and it could be as high as your back. I would see an orthopedic doctor and maybe get a nerve conduction test done to see where the problem is really coming from. Have you recently fallen or banged into something? Is there any pain? How long has this been occurring. Is the numbing sensation painful at all? If you could provide me with this information it would help me to give you an accurate reply. Please include this. Probably iliotibial band syndrome. If you get swelling, a 'popping', or 'locking' in that area, then you could have a lateral meniscus injury.. Sometimes it takes a while to diagnosis the difference. |
