Is this a major knee injury or am I just paranoid? |
I injured my knee while playing volleyball friday night. i have a history of knee injuries having torn my ACL twice in my right knee and once in my left so i have plenty of experience with that. this injury has occured in my left knee. i jumped up and when i landed something happened. the pain was on the inside of my knee. it hurt pretty bad but nothing like an ACL tear. the pain is pretty much gone now however there is swelling and it still just kinda feels funny inside there. anybody have any ideas of what it could be or if it is anything at all? Playing high school football, I've torn up my left knee twice and finally got surgery the second time around...the more you injure the same spot, the less it hurts. Even though it doesnt feel as bad, it very well could be the same thing. If it is perfectly stable, and you can run and jump without collapsing on it, then it is probably just a sprain. See a doctor. Carry on massage on your legs with a baby oil or pure virgin olive oil. |
