I need a quality knee brace that will support and prevent my knee from suffering any more injuries.?

i have already had 3 surgeries on the same knee in the past two years. i had an ACL tear, and a miniscus tear that occured twice and the second time around had actually flipped over and my knee was locked. i am still young and look forward to playing softball in college and as long as i can after that. i need a brace that can keep me on the field, without these annoying injuries. one that could stop over extension and twisting, since that is how my injuries have occured.

I know that there is a knee brace out there because my brother has one on his knee. He has no cartilage in his knee. and if I remember correctly it has to bars or rods on both sides of the knee and I also know that he paid 350 dollars for it call your orthopedic and see if they have a brace that you are looking for if I can found out what my brother wears I will reply again tomorrow. hope you feel better soon

i tore my acl and sprained many ligaments and bruised something in my knee about 2 years ago and had to wear a brace for basketball...it helped alot...my knee wouldnt over extend or twist...i dont know what the actual name of the brace was called but the brand name was DONJOY it was metal and had padding on the side...you could email me and i can send pics of the brace if you want

After I had an ACL-meniscus repair surgery, I healed for 6 mo.s, then my surgeon prescribed me to get a knee brace especially made for me that I wear when I play soccer. Ask your surgeon, DUH! They should have given you a brace to begin with.

Talk to an orthopedic doctor and get a special brace made. I had a football player friend who that happened to and he have to have heavy-duty braces made. They are a little heavy, but he never had a knee injury again. I know it's football instead of softball, but reading your injury, I had to make sure he didn't write it b/c, like I said, he suffered the same things.
