Knee injury after 6 years? |
I injured my knees 6 years ago after changing my cycling shoe cleats. I'd worn the same cleats for 10 years, then when I changed them the new ones must have been in a slightly different position and after cycling for 3 months with the new cleats my knees were really sore. I rested for a long time, went to a biokineticist, did strengthening exercises religiously and it didn't improve. I ended up going to a sports physician, physio, orthopedic surgen and podiatrist over the years. All gave the same diagnosis (runner's knee) and same advice - exercise. you don't give your age; it may help. |
