Knee injury help?

Yesterday i was playing in a game and got kicked alittle bit above my knee cap but to the right of it ( i think its my lcl or the cartilage). at first i couldnt put much weight on it but then it was better, kinda felt like my leg would give out. Now the morning after. it doesnt really hurt, but it does start hurting more after i strech my right quad. anyone know what i should do for this injury. I iced it for 30 min after i hurt it. anyone have a diagnosis or advice?

just so u know, lcl is cartilage. there is a bunch of cartilage in ur knee. if it is a tear in the cartilage, im sorry to say u will need surgery. i did. i suggest you go to an orthopedist, since i cannot see the exact location of your pain, he will take xrays and then if needed an mri. best of luck

Yes, you need to make an appointment with an Orthopedic Doctor. You at the least have fluid on your knee and at the worst torn a ligament/broke of piece of cartilage loose. GOOD LUCK!
