Knee injury don't know what has been damaged? |
Physio has been doing multiple tests on me .. hasn't found a solid prognosis. There are alot of maybe this maybe that :( Whenever they do the tests it doesn't hurt in the positions she moves it .. but when I straighten my leg .. ouch! pain also occurs when folded leg can't fold as far as I used to. pain all through the knee Your symptoms sound a lot like a meniscus (cartilage pads in between the 2 bones) tear. I would suggest that you skip the x-ray and get an MRI done on the knee. Meniscus tears that are symptomatic like yours do not heal on their own usually...so if it is a meniscus tear then prepare yourself for possible surgery. Best of luck. if u have giving way or locking ,it is probabaly menisc or a.c.l injury. it shows in mRI . keep in rest Ok, listen...you need to get X-ray and MRI testing...i had a knee injury and i needed surgery, so you need an MRI as soon as you can get it...you might be out for the sports season, but the sooner you get this taken care of, the sooner you will be playing netball again. |
