Anterior Cruciate Ligament - Knee Injury? |
I am recovering from a bad knee injury from a couple of years ago, that I have just re-injured. Whats the best way to nurse it back to health, whilst still keeping myself fit. My suggestion would be for you to attend physiotherapy. They will start with gentle stretching and strengthening and they might even use ultrasound to speed healing. If the problem gets worse you should go and see your doctor. Take it slow and easy and use the RICE method. I am sure you must have experience from your last injury. I truly hope that this helps you. Good luck. Remember time heals all wounds. Also a good thing to try would be an exercise bike set on low resistance. It burns calories and it is easy on the knee. Did the previous injury require corrective surgery? |
