Is surgery useful in Knee pain's.? |
My aunt has been advised total replacement of knee due to pain, some people say that this will not help her much as their is a tendency to put more weight on the normal leg causing same disorder on the other side. Can some people share their experience specially those who have undergone surgery. I have assisted on many knee replacements. Vast, vast majority have great outcomes. Age of course can be a factor in recovery time. Tell your aunt to do the PT that the doc recommends. IF patients follow the instructions given, it can be a very helpful procedure. Most have some discomfort during recovery, but the end result is a very much normal lifestye. Good luck to your aunt. my nan had this done along with a hip replacement, it is very painful surgery but is also very rewarding as my nan has not been able to move like she does now for years. Yes it is advisable since it will be replaced with an artificial joint which will not hurt like the natural joints in the body. Knee pain is an early sign of lung cancer. knee replacement is advised when osteoarthritis of the joint has reached very advanced stages meaning, condition of the joint is bad & any movement or pressure on the joint will lead to pain. total knee replacement is a very useful surgery in this regard & can help the patient regain mobility. but like any other surgical procedure it has its limitations, & failure rate can be upto 10 % depending the experience of the surgeon. no for knee pain slons balm and slons oil is better of massage The reason you are Overweight because you are not eating proper food. The problem with our diet is that we get too many calories, fat, sugar and salt. On the other hand we get too little of the things we need, like, vitamins, minerals, fiber and water. not only do we get overweight but put ourselves at risk for many health problems.
