What exercises can I do to tone my thighs & glutes w/o bending my knees? (I have patella tracking disorder)?

You can efficiently train the gluteals (hip musculature) doing four exercises: Hip Flexion, Hip Extension, Hip Abduction and Hip Adduction. You are going to have a hard time training the thigh without bending the knee because the quadricep and hamstring muscles are trained through knee flexion and knee extension. Do these four exercises until your hips are strong enough to begin doing a horizontal leg press exercise. Stay away from exercises that isolate the knee joint (leg extension and leg curl).

One toning exercise I do for my legs and thighs that doesnt involve any knee bending is this simple, easy exercise - Simply lie down on your side and lift your leg up high, slowly, so you can feel the stretch and burn and then slowly lower it to your other leg which is on the floor and bring them almost together and then lift again.. and repeat this as long as you can and as you get used to it do more repititions. Repeat with your other leg. Hope this helps and goodluck.

hmm I'll suggest walking and quite a lot for you to be able to see results. can you walk up a hill coz if you can and you do then you are sorted

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.
